One of the fabulous ideas for scrapbook is a scrapbooking the travel album. You do not need to take many pictures. Just take your favorite photo, upload it to your computer, and print it out nice and large, then you can paste it into the book (for digital scrapbooking we do not need to print it out of course; lol). You can use many things from your trip to embellish your scrapbook pages and make them extra special. With just a little bit of planning, you can permanently record your trip highlights. If you are not an artist, you could just as easily journal on the page.

Dee Marie, one of the scrapbook enthusiast give some ideas for making wonderful pages for our scrapbook travel album. Here are some of the ideas;

Make a page about our method of travel and keep the ticket stubs for use in the album. For example, if we traveled by car, we could keep some of the road maps we used to reach our destination and any tolls receipts or even gas receipts. If we traveled by airplane, keep the boarding passed to use, the airline napkins, flyers, or other items that have the arilines name on them. For digital scrapbook, we might want to scan it first all the items and keep it in the computer.

Keep items from the restaurant, hotels or any shows that we visit. For example we could keep the napkins or tissue that have the restaurants names on them; hotel stationary, the paper luggage tags, stamped stickers, tickets, tour maps, postcards or even dried flowers. Hmm.. interesting idea isn’t it…

Don’t forget to bring extra bag or plastic folder so we can store the items that we will be using in our scrapbook pages.

Happy Scrappin :D

  1. A Guide For The Scrapbook Beginner | scrapbookingthings.com Says:

    [...] When on a vacation, stock up on all the memorabilia available, and of course, that means lots of photos. You should snap pictures every chance available, of landmarks, signposts, and the hotel room. Past trips can still be made into a scrapbook, by simply gathering all photos that are still available and making them into a great scrapbook travel album. [...]
