Children love waking up on Christmas morning to find a stocking filled to the brim with small goodies. Homemade stockings or personalized stocking stuffers add a personal touch to this holiday tradition. Personalize your Christmas stockings using Making Memories Fa La La collection and the Slice.

Great idea from Jayme, one Making Memories product designers, created these stockings by cutting out various circle using the Basic Design Design Card I and shapes and various Fa La La papers. She then used her sewing machine to stitch them onto the Christmas stocking. To finish it off, she used blossoms from the Fa La La colection as her embellishments.

    One of the fabulous ideas for scrapbook is a scrapbooking the travel album. You do not need to take many pictures. Just take your favorite photo, upload it to your computer, and print it out nice and large, then you can paste it into the book (for digital scrapbooking we do not need to print it out of course; lol). You can use many things from your trip to embellish your scrapbook pages and make them extra special. With just a little bit of planning, you can permanently record your trip highlights. If you are not an artist, you could just as easily journal on the page.

    Dee Marie, one of the scrapbook enthusiast give some ideas for making wonderful pages for our scrapbook travel album. Here are some of the ideas;

    Make a page about our method of travel and keep the ticket stubs for use in the album. For example, if we traveled by car, we could keep some of the road maps we used to reach our destination and any tolls receipts or even gas receipts. If we traveled by airplane, keep the boarding passed to use, the airline napkins, flyers, or other items that have the arilines name on them. For digital scrapbook, we might want to scan it first all the items and keep it in the computer. Click to continue »

    Scrapbooking is one of the fastest growing craft activities. Everyone has photographs and bits and pieces of their lives that they would like to preserve. Scrapbooking is an excellent way to do this. You will not have to look far to pinpoint which parts of your life you would like to treasure in a scrapbook.

    To begin scrapbooking, choose a theme or group of themes on which to base your material. There are many possibilities on which you could base your scrapbooks, but a good rule of thumb is to scrapbook things which are of importance and have sentimental value to you.

    Many people begin their scrapbooking by chronicling their wedding day photos and small mementos such as wedding invitations, guests lists, and perhaps dried flowers. Another excellent topic for a scrapbook would be an activity or club that a person cherishes. Sports and similar activities are great scrapbook ideas.

    The birth of a child is a time that is precious to all parents. Scrapbooking ideas for a new baby include baby shower photos and invitations, ultrasound pictures, and perhaps even ribbons and balloons. Any items of sentimental value can easily be incorporated into your scrapbook. Most parents like to continue this theme with scrapbooks that follow the growth and development of their child.

    A collection of team photos, rosters, and team memorabilia would create a permanent record of these special times in a person’s life. You could even consider having teammates or club members ‘autograph’ your scrapbook beside team or individual photos.

    Possible scrapbooking themes do not end with weddings or sports activities. Click to continue »
